You're antisocial. And you like it that way. You
don't want unexpected company messing up the
way you like to live your life. You stay to
yourself, and if people come too close, you
believe you have every right to shoot them...

HAHA!
Ripped this off Baaaaby Satan...

Thirteen Habits Of Uneffective Test/Exam-takers
1) The infamous "If in doubt, choose C" for MCQs (multiple choice questions).Works about 25% of the time, but supposedly works better if you're studying in a *certain* secondary school (not mine, by the way, just look at my MCQ papers).

2) The Proving of Theory. Very useful in physics exams, even though I used this one *unsuccessfully* in the PSLE maths paper. Empty out your pencil case and attempt to construct little models out of your belongings to help you with your questions. Somehow, teachers love to stand behind you when you do this. Wonder why.

3) The Argumentative. Read the offending question over and over. Then attempt to find fault with it. ie. It has been proven with lawn garden experiments on earthworms that earthworms do not crawl in a straight line 50% of the time. Therefore, it will be impossible to find the distance travelled by the earthworm.

4) The Direct Insult. "What kind of stupid question is this?"

5) The Skip This Question. Self-explanatory. Come again when you feel luckier/more clever.

6) The I Tried, I Tried. Leave big fat blob of correction fluid on paper. Smudge blob. Flip page!

7) The Lucky Eraser. For MCQs. Write A, B, C, D on eraser. Roll eraser! Is today my lucky day?

8) The Hey At Least I Know Something. Write every piece of related information you know (F=ma, mating habits of goldfish, toa cah soh (something to do with right-angled triangles), properties of parallelogram)

9) The Budding Artist. Attempt to decorate offending question with pretty pretty pictures to get a better grade. Even better if pictures are related to question.

10)The Mystic. Look hard at offending question. Close eyes. With all your soul, summon the power of the stars/Universe/The Evil One/Mars/Jesus/Power Metal music and concentrate it on the question. Success! The answer gradually becomes clearer and clearer in your mind. Never mind that it has nothing to do with the question.

11) The Secrets Of The Mind. Look at smart person in front of you. Stare hard at smart person in front of you. With your eyes, sneak your way into the workings of the mind of the hapless victim. Like a highly-trained ninja spy, steal the answer and run. However, this is highly unreliable cause for all you know, the person is as much of a dunce as you.

12) The Don't-Careist. Decide that question is not solvable anyway. Use leftover time to sleep/draw/compose poetry/practise drumming skills.

13) The Escapist. Hide/rip out offending question. There! Out of sight=out of mind.

Otherwise, you can do the most effective one of all. Study.
